This is a tough one because we always want to give the walk-ins to the stylist that is the least busy. Is that really what we should be doing? My goal as a salon owner is to always reward stylists for great performance, so every quarter we take a look at a report called the MA200 from Millennium Software. This helps me see how each of my stylists are performing. Based on there Service Per Guest, Take Home Per Guest, Average Ticket, and Rebooking Percentage their name goes on a list. When a NEW customer calls you put them with the stylist on the top of the list. If that stylist is 100% booked then you go to the next name on the list. This way you are rewarding the stylists that are following your systems and that are taking care of your salon guests. Hope this tip helps Make sure to subscribe to us on youtube and check out Millennium Systems International if you're looking for software to help grow your business. http://www.MillenniumSI.com
