► LEARN ABOUT:
- Bones of the foot include the tarsus, metatarsus and phalanges
- Seven bones of the tarsus:
- Calcaneus: largest, strongest bone of the tarsus
- Talus
- Navicular: flattened, boat shaped bone
- Cuboid: cuboid tuberosity
- Three cuneiforms (medial, intermediate, lateral)
- Metatarsus
- Five metatarsals
- Connect tarsus to phalanges
- Phalanges
- Toe 1 has two phalanges (proximal,distal)
- Toe 2-5 have three phalanges (proximal, middle, distal)
